Open four-layer 30-pin FPM memory family with 4 MB, parity, 16 MB, and early-Macintosh PAL SIMM variants.

For this platform (bus/interface): Choose the exact GW419X variant required by the computer. GW4192A is a 16 MB non-parity 4K-refresh module; GW4194A is the special 4 MB PAL SIMM for systems that lack the 4M CBR refresh protocol. Connector shape alone does not establish compatibility.

The assembled GW4192A kit was out of stock on 2026-07-24 and had been sold out since October 26, 2022. GW4194A had been sold out since January 19, 2023. Open schematics and layouts remain available. These modules support FPM, not EDO, even when an EDO chip is wired to operate in FPM mode. Check refresh type, parity, capacity, bank population, and physical clearance against the exact computer before building or installing a variant.
