For this platform (exact target): The current kit fits only the 17-inch 1GHz and 1.25GHz iMac G4 revisions. It does not cover the 15-inch, 20-inch, or earlier 17-inch 800MHz models. Installation removes the original logic board, drives, and fan; preserve those parts for reversal, unplug the iMac before work, and follow the guide's static-safety and fragile-cable instructions. Modding Dome was accepting backorders on 2026-07-30, with shipping expected on 2026-08-24. The donor iMac and M4 Mac mini must be supplied separately.
