Sold outChecked Jul 27, 2026Mac Sync-inatorby Big Mess o' Wires

Actively converts classic Macintosh DB-15 video sync signals for use with compatible VGA displays.

For this platform (bus/interface): Supports classic Macintosh computers and video cards with Apple's standard two-row DB-15 monitor connector. It actively processes sync but does not convert unsupported scan rates or resolutions, so confirm the destination monitor's timing support.

The BMOW store still showed the $39 Sync-inator as sold out on 2026-07-27. A monitor must still support the source resolution and scan rate.

Adapts Macintosh two-row DB-15 video to VGA with one switch for universal 640 by 480 or multiscan display modes.

For this platform (bus/interface): Use only with a compatible Macintosh two-row DB-15 video output. Universal mode targets older 68K systems such as the LC and LC II; multiscan mode targets later systems. Set the switch before powering on and never change modes while the Macintosh is running.

The current product page offered kit and assembled configurations on 2026-07-24. A VGA cable is optional rather than included.
