The store requires a separately supplied Vortex86EX SOM and AGP card; optional OPL3, wavetable, and MT32-Pi hardware is also not included. Documentation warns that Batch 1 and Batch 2 boards through Revision F have a gameport fault and an analog-audio mono issue, although Batch 2 audio was to be repaired before shipment. Adds low-latency Roland MT-32 emulation and SoundFont synthesis to an ITX-Llama or MIDI-equipped vintage PC.

For this compatible system (exact system): The RetroDreams package connects a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W to the ITX-Llama through its 40-pin GPIO header for MT-32 or General MIDI playback. A DIY equivalent needs a supported Pi, attached header, FAT32 microSD setup, audio path, and user-supplied ROM images for MT-32 synthesis.

The GPL-3.0 upstream project still provides source, releases, and setup documentation, although its maintainer says further releases are unlikely.
