AvailableChecked Jul 27, 20265cfab Atari 800 Memory Boardsby 5cfab

Replaces the Atari 800's plug-in memory modules with either 48 KB or 1056 KB of modern RAM.

Both current pages exposed active ordering on 2026-07-27, and the 1056K listing reported four boards in stock. Installation does not require soldering, but the computer's top cover and existing memory modules must be removed. Both supplied boards have a marked keyboard-facing orientation; reversing either one can damage the computer or memory board.

AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026Atari 800 RAMROM 2024 Personality Cardby 5cfab

Replaces the Atari 800 personality module with selectable operating systems, faster floating-point code, and configurable extra memory.

The page reported four boards in stock on 2026-07-27. Functions that use $C000-$CFFF are mutually exclusive, so Omnimon and 128 KB Mosaic memory cannot be enabled together. Axlon cards require RAMROM's onboard RAM to be disabled. The optional DS1210 backup controller and coin cell are user-supplied; the seller page inconsistently calls that cell CR2032 and CR2023, so verify the fitted holder before buying a battery.

AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026Incognito Goldby Sebastian Bartkowicz / Lotharek

Transforms an original Atari 800 with configurable memory, XL/XE operation, CompactFlash storage, flash firmware, SpartaDOS X, and a real-time clock.

Lotharek exposed a current login-or-register-to-buy path on 2026-07-27 and describes Gold as a final 50-piece production run. Installation is an extensive internal modification: it removes the existing RAM cards and personality/ROM board, replaces the Z101 74LS42 with a ribbon connection, adds motherboard jumpers and auxiliary signal wiring, and optionally modifies the power board for an ATR button and activity LED. The installation procedure therefore makes Incognito an alternative to the 5cfab Atari 800 memory boards and RAMROM personality card, not a documented stackable addition. Retro Lemon warns that self-installation damage is not covered by its warranty.
