AvailableChecked Jul 30, 2026Commodore4ever A/V Breakout Familyby Commodore4ever

Host-specific passive A/V adapters for the VIC-20, C128 family, Plus/4, and Ultimate64 replacement mainboards.

Commodore4ever exposed active Add to cart controls for all four variants on 2026-07-30. The Ultimate64 board uses a different A/V pinout from an original C64; do not use that adapter on a stock C64 or assume compatibility with the newer Commodore 64 Ultimate. The C128 variant handles the 40-column analog output, not the separate 80-column RGBI port.

AvailableChecked Jul 30, 2026Sven Petersen C64 and C128 A/V Adapter Familyby Sven Petersen

Host-specific C64 and C128 breakouts with open eight-pin designs plus an assembled five-pin option for early C64 boards.

Retro Rewind listed the assembled eight-pin C64 version, while Commodore4ever listed both eight-pin and early five-pin C64 versions on 2026-07-30. The open eight-pin C64 and dedicated C128 variants remain buildable from board, BOM, and case files. The standard C64 board physically blocks the IEC port on a C128, so use the dedicated C128 layout there. Optional two-channel output requires a second SID or similar source wired to pin 7; otherwise both output channels carry the computer's mono audio.
