Apple Lisa 2/5 upgrades

Emulates Apple ProFile and Widget hard drives from SD-card images and provides low-level diagnostic and recovery tools.

For this system (stated family): The maker describes ESProFile for Apple Lisa computers and offers an external ProFile-emulation variant. The internal option requires a Widget Data Connector, so verify the exact Lisa configuration, cable, and power connection before ordering.

The Juicy Crumb page provided an order path on 2026-07-24 and explicitly marked the internal option in stock. An ESP32 module is optional in the store selector but required for operation, so verify the contents of the selected external or internal package. The internal variant requires a host with a Widget Data Connector and uses a Widget or Twiggy power cable.

Reimplements the Lisa 1 and Lisa 2/5 as an open FPGA system with HDMI, USB input, and SD-backed ProFile storage.

For this system (exact model): The FPGA explicitly implements Lisa 2/5 hardware and provides a Sony floppy connector plus external floppy and ProFile interfaces. This is a standalone replacement system and does not provide original Lisa expansion slots.

The complete JCM first production run was out of stock on 2026-07-24, with a notification form for a planned second run. The project provides source code and PCB files for DIY builds. A complete setup also needs suitable USB-C power, a microSD card, a 1080p HDMI display, and a supported keyboard and mouse. Onboard floppy emulation does not yet work. Optional original Twiggy-drive support requires the separate breakout and remains untested; JCM showed three breakout boards in stock.
