A build needs PETCPU and DRVIO cards, a backplane, components, a suitable 720 KB drive mechanism, a legal 1581 ROM image, power, cabling, and an enclosure. DRVIO revision 1.1A is marked okay and was tested with double-density PC drives; PETCPU revision 1.1B publishes board files but its layout is marked untested. High-density operation can overclock the WD1772 and is not the documented 1581 configuration.

Adds battery-backed date and timekeeping to a compatible Apple IIc memory-expansion card.

The dClock was out of stock on 2026-07-24. It is not a standalone IIc card: installation requires a compatible RamExpress or Apple IIc memory-expansion board with the required DRAM socket.

This is a large through-hole build requiring several vintage Intel 8xxx or compatible chips, 67 key switches, programmed ROMs, and regulated power. The Tindie heading incorrectly calls it an Intel 8088 computer; its own detailed specifications and the project repository correctly identify an Intel 8080A.
