For this platform (bus/interface): The maker states support for all standard ADB Macintosh hosts. Use a high-quality shielded cable, and add 5 V through USB Mini-B if the Mac's ADB supply cannot power the selected USB devices.

The current page listed a fully assembled unit without an out-of-stock marker on 2026-07-24. Firmware and hardware are closed source. USB peripheral and hub compatibility varies; early iMac Rev. A through C USB keyboards are explicitly unsupported.

For this platform (bus/interface): Both product variants convert supported USB keyboards and mice to ADB. Exact USB-device behavior, power requirements, hub support, soft-power behavior, and tested host coverage differ by variant.

HIDHopper Base, Base with USB Hub Hat, and Hub Hat-only selections could be added to the JCM cart on 2026-07-24. The assembled QuokkADB Rev. 2022g remained sold out, while its Raspberry Pi Pico Community Edition remained buildable. HIDHopper's Hub Hat requires external USB-C power, must be power-cycled between Macintosh starts, and can otherwise exceed the host's ADB power budget.

Replaces the ball mechanism in an original Apple ADB Mouse or ADB Mouse II with an adjustable optical sensor while retaining the ADB interface.

For this platform (bus/interface): The replacement remains an ADB mouse and is intended for vintage ADB hosts. Exact shell fit is separate from host compatibility.

Both $72.99 variants were out of stock on 2026-07-27: the Mouse II board since May 25 and the original wedge board since July 18. Match the replacement to the exact shell and board shape before ordering. The original ADB cable is required, and installation may require moving its four wires or connector. The USB-C connector changes settings and firmware; it does not turn the mouse into a USB device.
