AvailableChecked Jul 27, 20265cfab 1090XL 80-Column RPP Cardby 5cfab

Provides 80-column text over HDMI from a Raspberry Pi Pico card installed in a 1090XL-family expansion system.

The page reported three cards in stock on 2026-07-27. A 1090XL or 1091XL base system and a separate HDMI display are required. Enabling the card disables normal video output; holding Shift while booting disables the card. Each installed expansion card needs its own jumper-selected device ID.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026A2Picoby Oliver Schmidt and Ralle Palaveev

Open hardware and software platform for building Raspberry Pi Pico-based Apple II peripheral cards.

JCM showed 36 assembled A2Pico cards in stock with selectable preinstalled firmware on 2026-07-24. Choose the board and firmware together. The simpler A2Pico2Lite design uses a Pico 2 and omits the original A2Pico microSD slot. Unpowered USB OTG hubs can cause device problems, especially with mice.

Build itChecked Jul 27, 2026A2USBby ThorstenBr

Repurposes supported Raspberry Pi Pico Apple II video cards as a USB HID mouse interface.

A complete setup needs a supported A2VGA Revision 1.6 or modified older A2VGA or A2analog card, a Micro-USB-to-USB-A adapter, and a driverless USB HID mouse. USB hubs are not supported. Installing A2USB removes the card's VGA function until different firmware is loaded. Remove the Pico or card from the Apple II before using BOOTSEL to update firmware, and choose the PAL or NTSC build with the appropriate 50 or 60 Hz interrupt default.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026MacPicoVid and SE-COMBO Familyby Joe's Computer Museum and guruthree

Converts raw compact-Mac video to VGA, with optional power integration for bare logic-board projects.

On 2026-07-24 JCM showed 11 onboard-VGA and 41 Extended MacPicoVid boards, 56 MacPicoVid SE-COMBO boards, 2 IDC12 boards, 19 SE-TOPPER boards, 46 128K/512K/Plus adapters, and 32 Classic adapters in stock. Standalone boards require separate 5 V USB power and host wiring. The power-integrated products are for a removed logic board or custom chassis, not a drop-in external-video port for an intact computer.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026MegaFlash for Apple IIc and IIc Plusby Elmars Ositis and Thomas Fok

Adds flash-backed ProDOS volumes, a RAM disk, recovery ROM, clock, network transfer, and Applesoft enhancements inside an Apple IIc or IIc Plus.

JCM showed assembled 128 MB Apple IIc units in stock on 2026-07-24, while human review found the separate assembled IIc Plus package out of stock. The family remains available through the IIc version. A system-ROM replacement is required. Early ROM 255 IIc boards may need W1 and W2 modification, and early spring-clip keyboards may need the low-profile stiffener for clearance.

AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026Pico Micro Mac (v2)by Matt Evans and Ron McAdams

Runs a purpose-built Macintosh 128K emulator on a Raspberry Pi Pico with monochrome VGA and USB keyboard and mouse input.

Juicy Crumb exposed an Add to cart path for the assembled v2 carrier and an optional in-stock Raspberry Pi Pico on 2026-07-27. Check whether the selected package includes the Pico. A working setup also needs 5 V power, a VGA display or converter, USB OTG cable, mouse, and usually a keyboard or hub. The default flash-backed disk is read-only; writable storage requires a separately built SPI SD-card path. Building firmware from source requires a legally obtained compatible Macintosh ROM and disk image. The community UF2 creator was temporarily offline during this check.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026QuokkADB and HIDHopper ADBby Rabbit Hole Computing and Tech by Androda

Connects modern USB HID keyboards and mice to Macintosh computers through Apple Desktop Bus.

HIDHopper Base, Base with USB Hub Hat, and Hub Hat-only selections could be added to the JCM cart on 2026-07-24. The assembled QuokkADB Rev. 2022g remained sold out, while its Raspberry Pi Pico Community Edition remained buildable. HIDHopper's Hub Hat requires external USB-C power, must be power-cycled between Macintosh starts, and can otherwise exceed the host's ADB power budget.

Build itChecked Jul 28, 2026SIDKick Picoby SIDKick project

DIY RP2040- or RP235x-based replacement for one or two 6581 or 8580 SID chips, with optional FM emulation and paddle or mouse input support.

Choose the hardware design and matching firmware together. The official project documents different DAC, PWM, connector, line-output, and host-interface arrangements plus a list of preassembled sellers. Multi-SID or FM modes need the documented address-signal wires. Never power the module from USB and the Commodore computer at the same time.

AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026ZuluSCSI Family and TinySCSIby Rabbit Hole Computing and ZigZagJoe

Open-firmware SCSI emulators in DB-25, internal 50-pin, laptop, and Wide SCSI form factors.

Rabbit Hole Computing offered current Compact RP2040, Blaster, and Wide variants on 2026-07-24. A 2026-07-27 follow-up found its mostly assembled $25 Pico Slim V1.3 PCB kit sold out, while SamplerZone exposed an Add to Cart path for a $79.95 assembled and cased Pico Slim with configured microSD media. Rabbit Hole's direct Pico2 Slim and Laptop Blaster pages were also sold out. TinySCSI was archived in January 2025, but its V1.0 and V2.0 KiCad files remain available for personal builds. A project discussion documents Wi-Fi DaynaPORT operation on a Pico Slim under System 7.5.5 with the DaynaPORT SCSI-port driver, but does not establish a minimum System version or equivalent networking support for every family variant. Connector, termination, power, speed, and initiator support vary by hardware.
