Retro-Updates marked revision 5.1 sold out and soon available again on 2026-07-30. The official project page still describes direct email ordering at an older EUR 22 price, but its order news is from 2021; confirm current production, price, revision, case choice, and shipping before paying. This adapter does not scan-convert the original video timing. A SCART display must accept the signals directly, or a separate SCART-to-HDMI converter is required and may produce variable results.

Pyrofer's Projects lists the NTSC board and its separate C128DCR mounting tab as out of stock. The normal package uses tabs for the flat C128 and standard C128D; the differently spaced C128DCR requires the separate tab. Although the board has a PAL/NTSC selection, the seller says changing format also requires a different oscillator IC, and the listed package includes the NTSC oscillator.

Shipping depends on the selected destination, and no rate was shown during extraction. The seller documents a shielded cable, an onboard micro PCB, and an operating LED. No scan conversion is documented, so confirm that the intended display accepts the cable's original-timing composite, S-Video, and SCART RGB signals.

Installation and adjustment are not necessarily drop-in: a metal-case 128D may need the supplied additional IC socket to clear a taller nearby capacitor. Human review found no revision-specific installation sheet, so exact plastic C128D and C128DCR shield, heatsink, capacitor, and switch clearance remain unverified.
