The product page exposed a login-or-register-to-buy path on 2026-07-27. The box contains only the AmSider board; the SD-to-IDE adapter and SD card are separate. Pin 1 is marked beside the speaker and must be oriented correctly. The access buzzer can be disabled by opening its solder bridge.

Two CompactFlash or SD-to-CF devices can be unreliable: the seller says the master must be slower than the slave or a device may disappear and a partition may be damaged. Optical and ZIP operation requires IDEFix97, and some CF combinations are inherently incompatible.

The official store still listed the Ultimate64 Elite-II out of stock on 2026-07-27. Its home page says the black short-board run is sold out and Commodore has taken over sales of its version of the board. Check both current vendors rather than assuming another 1541 Ultimate batch.
