Replaces the Macintosh Portable's lead-acid battery so the computer can run from a sufficiently capable external supply.

The product page exposed an Add to cart path on 2026-07-24. A suitable higher-current 7.5 V supply is still required. This board does not remedy capacitor leakage or other faults in an unrestored Portable.

AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026Mfa2 Apple IIe Emulator familyby Mfa2 Workshop

Provides a portable 128 KB enhanced Apple IIe-compatible system with an integrated LCD, speaker, and microSD-based floppy and hard-disk images.

On 2026-07-27, the 3.2-inch page exposed case choices and an Add to cart control, although another stock marker on the same page said out of stock. The 1.6-inch and built-in-keyboard models were explicitly out of stock. Check the selected variant before ordering. A microSD card and USB power supply are not included. The 1.6-inch model also needs a separately sourced lithium battery and soldering work; its battery must be charged with the emulator switch in the OFF position.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026VGA Adapter for Macintosh Portableby Tech By Androda and Joe's Computer Museum

Displays Macintosh Portable video on a VGA monitor at 640 by 480 with centered 640 by 400 content.

JCM showed 46 Hardware Version 1 adapters in stock on 2026-07-24. Connect or disconnect only while the Portable is off. Never use a VGA extender cable between the adapter and computer; it can short and damage the Portable. Keep conductive objects away from the exposed connector pin carrying battery voltage.
