For this compatible system (exact system): The seller explicitly names Micro 8088 as a compatible system. Use the supplied patched packet driver, choose free I/O, IRQ, and optional ROM resources, and assign a unique valid MAC address.

The fully assembled card was out of stock on Tindie on 2026-07-25 and had been sold out since December 15, 2025. Open KiCad files, Gerbers, software, and a separate bare-PCB path remain available. A DIY build needs a unique valid MAC address and surface-mount RTL8019 assembly.

Builds a compact modular IBM PC/XT-compatible computer with an 8088 or NEC V20, up to 640 KB of base RAM, optional upper memory, and 8-bit ISA expansion.

For this compatible system (exact system): This is the processor board at the center of a Micro 8088 system. A functional computer still needs an ISA backplane, video and storage controller cards, a power supply, storage media, and suitable input and display hardware; a case is optional. Only FE2010A and compatible replacement chipsets provide turbo switching. The optional SPLD is required for upper-memory blocks and in-system BIOS writes, and the installed CPU and optional 8087 must tolerate any selected turbo speed.

The GPL-3.0 project provides KiCad files, Gerbers, a bill of materials, BIOS, programmable-logic files, and build instructions. Retro Electronics had six bare ENIG PCBs in stock on 2026-07-27; every component and all assembly are excluded. Weird Electronics' board and complete-kit listings were temporarily unavailable while the seller takes a break through August 20, 2026. A separate assembled-board listing had been sold out since May 11, 2026. Weird Electronics sells a Version 1.4 PCB with larger Flash-ROM support, while the repository README documents layouts through Version 1.3; follow the documentation for the board actually supplied.

Aitor Gomez Garcia's low-profile version showed three units in stock on 2026-07-27 but currently ships only within Spain. A CR2032 battery is not included.

Use PCB version 1.1 for an original IBM PC or XT; version 1.0 needs the documented ALE rework. On version 1.1, the C17 silkscreen incorrectly says 1 uF instead of 1 nF. The project also documents a color-monitor detection workaround for newer DDC displays.
