AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026BlueSCSI v2 and Ultraby BlueSCSI project

Open hardware SCSI emulator with SD-backed storage, optional Wi-Fi networking, and host-side management tools.

Current seller checks on 2026-07-27 found a $39 internal 50-pin Pico 2 W kit, a $49 assembled external DB-25 model, a $49 PowerBook model, and a $59 assembled Ultra Narrow 50-pin model at authorized seller ToTs RETRO. JCM also carried assembled Ultra hardware and model-specific Macintosh adapters. Prices, stock, included media, and support differ by seller. Ultra models require Berg or Molex power and cannot run from SCSI termination power. The initial Ultra hardware release is not yet open hardware, although its firmware remains GPL; the project says hardware licensing will open later.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026Compact Flash Module v2by Z80 Kits

Adds solid-state CompactFlash storage for CP/M or RomWBW configurations.

The fine-pitch CompactFlash socket can be supplied loose with an optional stencil or pre-soldered and tested. Standard RC2014 BASIC cannot access this storage. CP/M requires the documented Pageable ROM and 64K RAM configuration, while RomWBW uses a 512K ROM 512K RAM setup.

AvailableChecked Jul 14, 2026Lo-tech ISA XT-CF Adapter rev. 3by Lo-tech

Current 8-bit ISA adapter that lets a CompactFlash card serve as an XT-IDE hard disk in an IBM PC or XT-class computer.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026MacSDby YMK Devices

Multifunction 50-pin SCSI-2 device that emulates hard disks and CD-ROM drives from SD or MMC media.

The Tindie page exposed quantity and CD-audio-jack selectors with a current View Options and Buy path on 2026-07-24. Its destination-dependent shipping messages were inconsistent, so buyers should confirm shipping for their country.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026MegaFlash for Apple IIc and IIc Plusby Elmars Ositis and Thomas Fok

Adds flash-backed ProDOS volumes, a RAM disk, recovery ROM, clock, network transfer, and Applesoft enhancements inside an Apple IIc or IIc Plus.

JCM showed assembled 128 MB Apple IIc units in stock on 2026-07-24, while human review found the separate assembled IIc Plus package out of stock. The family remains available through the IIc version. A system-ROM replacement is required. Early ROM 255 IIc boards may need W1 and W2 modification, and early spring-clip keyboards may need the low-profile stiffener for clearance.

Sold outChecked Jul 24, 2026NuCF CompactFlash Adapterby ZigZagJoe

Adds bootable CompactFlash storage through the PDS, bypassing the original SCSI implementation.

The maker states that production is on hold with no ETA. The public support repository contains firmware and installation files, but no DIY hardware fabrication package.

AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026SCSI2SD V5 Familyby SCSI2SD project and resellers

Retired family of SD-backed SCSI drive emulators that includes internal 50-pin and direct-attach DB-25 hardware.

Upstream describes SCSI2SD V5 and V6 as permanently retired. SamplerZone nevertheless exposed an Add to Cart path for a cased v5.5 at $129.95 on 2026-07-27, including configured microSD media and optional HD50 or Centronics-50 adapters. Treat v5.1 as a used-market mechanism upgrade and confirm reseller fulfillment for v5.5. The documentation hub lists v4.8.4 from 2019 as the latest firmware for both versions. V5.5 has fixed termination and must be last on its chain; hosts without DB-25 termination power need USB power.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026Stratos SD-to-SCSI Adapter Familyby Stratos Technology

SD-card storage adapters for notebook SCSI, internal 50-pin SCSI, and external DB-25 SCSI connections.

The standalone PowerMonster, AztecMonster, and SusanoMonster pages exposed current Add to cart controls on 2026-07-24. The external PowerMonster with BakMonolith kit was out of stock. Mac OS installations need suitable third-party formatting software. Hot swapping works only when the host operating system supports removable media and may require explicit unmount and mount operations.

Build itChecked Jul 15, 2026XT-CF-Lite V4by Sergey Kiselev

DIY 8-bit ISA CompactFlash adapter that provides mass storage and supports an XT-IDE BIOS extension ROM.

The project supplies build files and documentation rather than a direct retail order path.

AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026ZuluSCSI Family and TinySCSIby Rabbit Hole Computing and ZigZagJoe

Open-firmware SCSI emulators in DB-25, internal 50-pin, laptop, and Wide SCSI form factors.

Rabbit Hole Computing offered current Compact RP2040, Blaster, and Wide variants on 2026-07-24. A 2026-07-27 follow-up found its mostly assembled $25 Pico Slim V1.3 PCB kit sold out, while SamplerZone exposed an Add to Cart path for a $79.95 assembled and cased Pico Slim with configured microSD media. Rabbit Hole's direct Pico2 Slim and Laptop Blaster pages were also sold out. TinySCSI was archived in January 2025, but its V1.0 and V2.0 KiCad files remain available for personal builds. A project discussion documents Wi-Fi DaynaPORT operation on a Pico Slim under System 7.5.5 with the DaynaPORT SCSI-port driver, but does not establish a minimum System version or equivalent networking support for every family variant. Connector, termination, power, speed, and initiator support vary by hardware.
