Treat v5.1 as a used-market mechanism upgrade and confirm reseller fulfillment for v5.5. The documentation hub lists v4.8.4 from 2019 as the latest firmware for both versions. V5.5 has fixed termination and must be last on its chain; hosts without DB-25 termination power need USB power.

Mac OS installations need suitable third-party formatting software. Hot swapping works only when the host operating system supports removable media and may require explicit unmount and mount operations.
