Sold outChecked Jul 24, 2026Apple IIgs 8MB RAM/ROMby A2Heaven

Combines 8 MB of fast static RAM with an optional 512K boot ROM and built-in IIgs debugging software.

The card was out of stock on 2026-07-24. The optional ROM portion makes the assembly wider than a plain memory card; check clearance around long slot cards, especially in slot 7.

Build itChecked Jul 27, 2026Atari Real Clock (ARC)by Pasiu / SSG and Qcyk / Dial

Adds a battery-backed real-time clock to Atari XL and XE computers as an internal module, pass-through cartridge, or circuit inside another cartridge.

The project page publishes a parts list, clock and address-decoder schematics, battery and rechargeable-cell backup circuits, and an ARC handler archive. It recommends internal installation because the pass-through and inside-another-cartridge forms may cause more problems. The page does not provide a step-by-step bus-wiring guide: an internal build must source D0-D3, A0-A7, R/W, phase 2, power, and D5xx cartridge-control signals, while a cartridge build uses the cartridge connector. No explicit project license or current assembled seller was verified.

Sold outChecked Jul 24, 2026dClockby A2Heaven

Adds battery-backed date and timekeeping to a compatible Apple IIc memory-expansion card.

The dClock was out of stock on 2026-07-24. It is not a standalone IIc card: installation requires a compatible RamExpress or Apple IIc memory-expansion board with the required DRAM socket.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026DS1302 Real Time Clock Moduleby Ed Brindley

Adds a battery-backed clock for timekeeping and file timestamps on supported RC2014 systems.

The current kit is offered with or without the DS1302 IC. A CR2032 backup battery is required but is not included.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026No-Slot Clock Familyby ReActiveMicro and Manila Gear

Adds battery-backed date and time without consuming an Apple II expansion slot.

The ReActiveMicro version was in stock and backorderable on 2026-07-24; the Manila Gear version exposed selectable configurations and an Add to cart path. Neither design fits an Apple IIc or IIc Plus when a RAM card occupies the necessary space.

Sold outChecked Jul 24, 2026RamExpress II Memory and Clockby A2Heaven

Adds 1 MB of battery-backed RAM and a real-time clock to supported Apple IIc and IIc Plus logic boards.

Both variants were out of stock on 2026-07-24. Open the computer and identify its model, ROM, logic-board layout, and memory-expansion connector before choosing a version. The A2S4000 version requires CPU removal and socket installation; an Apple IIc with ROM 0 must first be upgraded to ROM 1 through 4.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026RamFactor1M and RamFactor8Mby A2Heaven

Modernizes the Applied Engineering RAMFactor design with 1 MB or 8 MB of low-power Slinky RAM and battery-backed storage.

The 1 MB version showed one unit in stock on 2026-07-24; the 8 MB version was out of stock. A CR2032 is required for battery-backed use and is explicitly omitted from the 1 MB package because of postal restrictions.

Sold outChecked Jul 27, 2026TBA RT8 Cartridgeby The Brewing Academy

Adds a battery-backed real-time clock and calendar to Atari 8-bit computers through the cartridge port.

The collection marked both versions sold out on 2026-07-24. The stand-alone version is no longer supplied with a case. The drop-in version is an assembled board intended for an original R-Time 8 shell. The seller estimates three to five years of battery life.

Build itChecked Jul 24, 2026TimeDiskby Garrett's Workshop

Open 1 MB battery-backed RAMFactor-compatible memory card with a NoSlotClock-compatible clock and ProDOS restore image.

No current assembled seller was verified on 2026-07-24, but the GW4206B hardware, CPLD, firmware, documentation, and fabrication files remain public. A CR2032 is required for clock operation, retained RAM, and the restore partition. Replacing it erases RAM and resets the clock. Disable TimeDisk's clock when another NoSlotClock-compatible device is present. The USB updater requires 64-bit Windows 10 or later, including supported Boot Camp or Parallels configurations.

AvailableChecked Jul 29, 2026VIC-2407 Real-Time Clock and RAM Cartridgeby Jaystonian's Retro Shop

Combines switch-selectable 35 KB VIC-20 RAM expansion with a battery-backed real-time clock and 115 bytes of persistent user memory.

Tindie showed eight cartridges in stock at USD 49.99 on 2026-07-29. A CR2032 is expected to last about two years and is replaceable. The alarm interrupt and square-wave outputs are exposed only as through-holes, not as finished external connections.
