Human review found the combined visual material sufficient for a skilled builder. It remains an adaptation rather than a revised fabrication package: the linked Gerbers and assembly material are for the unmodified Pixels Past single-cartridge PCB, while the eight-way changes appear only in an inline diagram with no separate revised Gerbers, bill of materials, ROM-preparation guide, or textual selection instructions. Pixels Past licenses its base files under CC BY 4.0, but no license for the eight-way modification was verified.

Adds a battery-backed real-time clock to Atari XL and XE computers as an internal module, pass-through cartridge, or circuit inside another cartridge.

The project page publishes a parts list, clock and address-decoder schematics, battery and rechargeable-cell backup circuits, and an ARC handler archive. It recommends internal installation because the pass-through and inside-another-cartridge forms may cause more problems. The page does not provide a step-by-step bus-wiring guide: an internal build must source D0-D3, A0-A7, R/W, phase 2, power, and D5xx cartridge-control signals, while a cartridge build uses the cartridge connector. No explicit project license or current assembled seller was verified.

Provides blank flash cartridges and a USB programmer for building reusable Atari 8-bit multicarts.

The official page showed the cartridges and USB programmer in stock on 2026-07-25. These are blank programmable products and do not include commercial ROM images. Unplug the programmer before attaching a cartridge, verify label-side-up orientation, and connect directly to the PC rather than through a USB hub for first-time use. Backwards insertion can damage both the cartridge and programmer.

Adds a two-port USB host interface for supported keyboards, controllers, mice, and other driver-backed devices.

Atarimax marked the cartridge in stock and ready for shipment on 2026-07-25, although the same page called the current price a preorder promotion through 2026-07-31. This is not a generic plug-and-play USB port: support depends on Atari-side drivers. Atarimax still describes the software as early beta, and the MicroUSB project's substantive status notes are historical, so check the device matrix and exact driver before buying hardware for a particular peripheral.

Uses one microSD cartridge and interchangeable adapters to load software and provide selected storage, cartridge, memory, and diagnostic functions on many vintage computers.

The current store listed the assembled BackBit Pro for $129 on 2026-07-27 with one assembled adapter choice included. A microSD card is not included. TFW8b exposed an active product page with selectable options on 2026-07-27. This is an accelerator for an existing storage device, not storage by itself. Loading speed and compatibility depend on the program and attached drive.

Daniel Mantione currently offers the assembled Final Cartridge III 101% with a case through his project page and SellMyRetro. The project page says all four production batches, totaling 360 cartridges, sold out. Commodore4Ever also showed its product page sold out on 2026-07-28, and Protovision's current music-peripherals category listed only FM-YAM cable accessories. Check the seller pages or used market for a restock.

ConsoleMAD listed one original cartridge-only unit at GBP 24 on 2026-07-30; it was missing its label. RavenWolf's tested USD 12 cartridge was sold out and had been recovered from a workshop with harsh long-term storage conditions. Treat every offer as an individual used item. The HES software and manual remain copyrighted, so this record does not present an unlicensed ROM download as a DIY route.

C64 cartridge that provides an 80-character text display and is intended for use with a modern flat-panel display.

Poly.play listed Highspeed80 at 17 EUR, available immediately, on 2026-07-30. The seller gives a normal German delivery estimate of 3 to 10 working days and notes that international delivery can differ. The product page recommends a TFT display.

The official project site is active and identifies V4.2 as the latest revision, but the selected official pages provide neither a current order path nor a complete fabrication package. Check the used market and confirm the hardware revision before buying.

DIY replica of the 1985 C64 freezer cartridge that captures RAM, I/O, and CPU state to disk.

The replica repository's 2021 v1.0a files include ISEPIC-named Gerbers, an Altium PCB project, schematic, bill of materials, and disk images. Its README mistakenly links its PCBWay order button to a different 8 MHz Z80 card; do not order that board as an ISEPIC. Review and fabricate from the included ISEPIC files instead. Replica hardware files outside the Docs and Software directories are CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. The original 1985 ISEPIC software remains copyrighted and is not covered by that hardware license.

Vintage and DIY C64 freezer cartridge that saves restartable memory snapshots to disk, tape, or EPROM-oriented cartridge files.

DDI's Re-Capture page still exposes Gerbers, a parts list, a Capture ROM archive, and a manual link. The parts list specifies the EPROM, SRAM, logic, passives, and switch choices, but ReplayResources says the schematic is still missing and no complete assembly or test guide was found. Neither page supplies a clear license for the reproduction files or Capture software. ReplayResources quotes permission relating to Jason-Ranheim's separate Promenade materials but explicitly says its own Capture permission requests went unanswered, so the catalog does not treat the Capture ROM as open or freely licensed. Original cartridges remain worth searching for used.

The assembled Tindie listing was retired by 2026-07-30. The project repository retains Eagle design files, case files, firmware, software patches, and setup documents. The maker says prebuilt units sometimes appear through the linked eBay seller page, but no specific current listing was verified.

Poly.play reported low stock and a normal add-to-basket path on 2026-07-30. The package includes the cartridge, English and German manual, cardboard box, and stickers.

A monitor is effectively required, and saving needs a compatible drive or separate Savyour.

The official Atarimax page said the interfaces were in stock and extended its sale through 2026-07-31 when checked on 2026-07-27; verify that short-lived offer before ordering. The family has been superseded by MyIDE-II but remains functionally distinct because it accepts IDE devices rather than providing MyIDE-II's onboard CompactFlash and FAT32 loader. The cartridge requires a 64 KB XL or XE. Internal installation ranges from an OS-ROM socket plus three signal wires in an 800XL to extensive socket, jumper, MMU, BASIC, and wiring changes in a 1200XL. Mr. Atari's original 800 version is an advanced personal-use DIY design with schematic and firmware files but no complete build instructions or bill of materials.

individual Computers marked Nordic Replay available for immediate delivery on 2026-07-30 as a fully assembled and boxed cartridge with the Retro Replay ROM pre-flashed. iComp supports the hardware but not the third-party ROM software. Action Replay compatibility does not supply an Action Replay ROM license; the maker says an owner may use an image from an original cartridge. The accessory connector is documented only for compatible devices such as Silversurfer, RR-Net, and MP3@64, and the technical page warns that incorrectly fitted hardware can short and destroy both devices.

TFW8B listed the PenUltimate+3dcr as shipping on 2026-07-29. The older PenUltimate+, +2, and microSD-based +3 are end-of-life variants. Product-page option text mixes retired and current generations, so confirm that an order is for the +3dcr and whether any optional media are included.

Retrobit listed five assembled cartridge boards with cases at PLN 93.50 on 2026-07-27. A Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and microSD card are not included. The upstream project describes RAD as a playground for new features and documents machine-dependent timing and power limitations.

RETRO Innovations exposed an Add to Cart path at $75 on 2026-07-27. A dated 2026-04-29 notice on the product page says red enclosures were temporarily unavailable and orders could take two to three weeks to ship, so confirm the current enclosure and fulfillment state when ordering.

Reinterprets the Atari 800XL with RISC and FPGA processors, original-style peripheral connections, HDMI, USB storage and controllers, SD storage, and USB-C power.

The maker still says the RM 800XL will be available very soon, but no order, reservation, shipping, or public build path was verified on 2026-07-27.

Adds wired Ethernet to a C64 either as a direct cartridge or through the clockport of supported carrier hardware.

Current orderability was not established on 2026-07-30. Lotharek marks both generations discontinued. SIDE2 needs at least 128 KB for its FDISK workflow, and full ATR loading requires Ultimate 1MB. Some systems need a faster 74F08 or buffered O2 timing path. Lotharek ended SIDE3 sales because it could not supply firmware that worked reliably across all computers; Revision 3.2 uses a Gowin FPGA, needs its matching firmware and programming path, and does not accept the older CPLD updates. Identify the exact hardware and firmware revision before buying or flashing a used cartridge.
