Find usedChecked Jul 27, 2026ALF AD8088 and AD128Kby ALF Products

Period 5 MHz 8088 coprocessor card with optional fast memory and an 8087 socket.

This is a period product obtained used. The AD8088 has 2K of onboard RAM expandable to 8K; larger programs need the separate AD128K in a nearby slot, and the AD128K cannot operate by itself. The original package included FTL math acceleration and the MET event timer. CP/M-86 and MS-DOS support depended on separately supplied operating-system software. A system needs at least 48K, a Language Card or equivalent, a disk drive, and a display. An 8087 may require extra cooling or an empty adjacent slot.

Find usedChecked Jul 27, 2026Applied Engineering TransWarpby Applied Engineering

Period 3.6 MHz accelerator with a 65C02, 256K of high-speed memory, and optional 16-bit processor upgrades.

This is a period product obtained used and is distinct from TransWarp GS. Confirm the exact card revision, installed processor, diagnostics, and slowdown behavior before buying. The brochure says it works with most DMA cards, but a mixed vintage system still needs card-by-card verification.

Sold outChecked Jul 24, 2026RamExpress II Memory and Clockby A2Heaven

Adds 1 MB of battery-backed RAM and a real-time clock to supported Apple IIc and IIc Plus logic boards.

Both variants were out of stock on 2026-07-24. Open the computer and identify its model, ROM, logic-board layout, and memory-expansion connector before choosing a version. The A2S4000 version requires CPU removal and socket installation; an Apple IIc with ROM 0 must first be upgraded to ROM 1 through 4.

PreorderChecked Jul 27, 2026SuperULAby Lotharek

Replaces the ULA, video RAM, upper RAM, and RF modulator in Issue 2 through 6 ZX Spectrum 48K boards while adding modern video, sound, memory, and machine modes.

The seller listed availability after 2026-08-31 and exposed a preorder path on 2026-07-27. Installation is invasive: remove the ULA and RF modulator, disable or remove the original DRAM, connect M1, RESET, IORQ, and RFSH at the Z80, and install the supplied RGB adapter and ribbon cable. The output is digital RGB only, not composite or YUV. Verify board issue, pin 1, wiring, case clearance, display compatibility, and the current installation guide before work.

AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026Synchr030/Sby YMK Devices

PDS memory accelerator that replaces Macintosh SE/30 SIMMs with 256 MB of SDRAM and provides an unbuffered PDS pass-through.

The Tindie page reported four assembled cards in stock at $297 on 2026-07-27. Its United States shipping section simultaneously showed a free rate and said the item did not ship there, so confirm destination availability at checkout. The current Rev B manual covers firmware v0.8.0. It warns against using the older v0.5.4 extension with address translation, documents a ROM-shadowing bypass for timing-sensitive accelerator functions, and says Apple Personal Diagnostics memory tests can hang or corrupt memory near completion. A cache-slot accelerator must never be inserted directly into the SE/30 PDS or the Synchr pass-through; use the correct SE/30 adapter. Three-card stacks discussed by the community remained untested.
