AvailableChecked Jul 27, 20265cfab 1090XL Z80 CP/M Cardby 5cfab

Adds an 8 MHz-or-faster Z80, 64 KB of onboard memory, and a beta CP/M environment through a 1090XL expansion slot.

The page reported one card in stock on 2026-07-27. CP/M customization and utilities remain late beta. The card is sold with or without a Z80; a user-supplied CPU must be rated for at least 8 MHz. The pictured 80-column RPP card is optional and not included. Double-density disk use also requires supporting drive hardware. The exact page names only the 1090XL, so confirm 1091XL compatibility before using it in that implementation.

AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026CPC 6128 512 KB Memory Moduleby Lotharek

Adds 512 KB of SRAM to an Amstrad CPC 6128 or CPC 6128 Plus through the Z80 CPU footprint.

The Lotharek page exposed a login-or-register-to-buy path on 2026-07-27. The CPU must be removed or desoldered, the module fitted in its place, and the CPU installed on the module. Confirm pin-1 orientation, socket quality, board clearance, and the computer's condition before beginning the invasive installation.

Sold outChecked Jul 24, 2026GZ/80 Turbo CP/M SoftCardby GGLABS

Adds a Microsoft SoftCard-compatible Z80 processor for running CP/M, with an optional turbo mode.

The GGLABS Tindie store was taking a break on 2026-07-24, so no current order could be placed. Turbo mode requires a CMOS 65C02 or 65C816 host; systems with an NMOS 6502 must use normal mode.

Sold outChecked Jul 24, 2026GZ/80S 20MHz CP/M Cardby GGLABS

Runs PCPI Applicard-compatible CP/M software on a dedicated 20 MHz Z80 with 512K of onboard RAM.

The GGLABS Tindie store was taking a break on 2026-07-24, so no current order could be placed. This card is PCPI Applicard-compatible, not Microsoft SoftCard-compatible; choose CP/M software and disk images for the Applicard environment.

AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026KRAKEN ZX Spectrum MultiCloneby Lotharek

A current ZX Spectrum-compatible motherboard for an original 48K or Spectrum+ case, with real and FPGA Z80 modes, 512 KB of RAM, enhanced video, and extensive audio.

The assembled and tested Revision 1.5C motherboard exposed an order path on 2026-07-27. It requires a separate original 48K or Spectrum+ case, keyboard membrane, video cable, display, and 9 V AC or DC supply rated for at least 400 mA with the documented 2.5/5.1 mm plug. Power polarity does not matter. Lotharek separately sells its 9 V, 1.5 A PWR4 for KRAKEN, without a country-specific mains lead. The page's layout drawing shows Revision 1.5B, which differs slightly. External DivMMC or DivIDE hardware may not work in turbo modes.

AvailableChecked Jul 27, 2026MAMLAS RAM / CPU / AY Moduleby Lotharek

Replaces the Z80 and upper 32 KB of DRAM in a ZX Spectrum 48K, Spectrum+, or Timex TC 2048 while adding AY sound.

The seller exposed a login-or-register-to-buy path for MAMLAS on 2026-07-27; its Z80SRAM predecessor is discontinued. MAMLAS installation is invasive: remove the original CPU and any socket, disable or remove the upper 32 KB DRAM, and solder the module directly at the CPU footprint with correct pin-1 orientation. The audio connector is not included, and a ZX Spectrum 48K heat sink may need to be bent for clearance. Do not install the module on top of its shipping or protective bottom socket. Used Z80SRAM boards should be treated as a distinct earlier revision and checked against their archived instructions.

Build itChecked Jul 27, 2026SC114, SC126, SC130, and SC720 Motherboardsby Small Computer Central

Combines a working Z80 or Z180 computer with RC2014-compatible expansion sockets on one buildable motherboard.

The official pages listed complete-kit and bare-PCB suppliers on 2026-07-27, but no assembled and tested option. Exact inventory varies by model and supplier; the Tindie seller was temporarily on a break when checked. Each board still needs assembly plus the documented power, terminal, and storage accessories.

Build itChecked Jul 27, 2026SC691, SC791, SC792, and SC794 Modular Computersby Small Computer Central

Builds complete RomWBW and CP/M computers from matched 40-pin or 80-pin RCBus backplanes and modules.

The official pages listed complete-kit and bare-PCB suppliers on 2026-07-27, but no assembled and tested option. Exact inventory varies by model and supplier. A suitable power supply, storage card, USB serial adapter, terminal computer, and assembly tools may be required as specified for each model.

Build itChecked Jul 24, 2026SC706 Z80 CPU Moduleby Small Computer Central

Provides a modular Z80 processor with flexible clock and reset options.

The project provides a schematic, Gerbers, PCB design files, and kit or bare-PCB suppliers; an assembled version is not offered. PCB v1.0.0 needs a wire link across C7 when X2 is not populated. Enable only one voltage supervisor in a system.

Build itChecked Jul 24, 2026SC708 Z80 SBC Moduleby Small Computer Central

Combines a Z80, paged RAM and Flash, clock, reset, and serial terminal on one RCBus module.

The project provides firmware, a schematic, Gerbers, PCB design files, and kit or bare-PCB suppliers; an assembled version is not offered. SC708 has no automatic power-on reset, so press its reset button after applying power. Avoid duplicate CPU, memory, clock, reset, or serial functions when adding it to a modular system.

Build itChecked Jul 24, 2026SC730 Z80 CPU plus MMU Moduleby Small Computer Central

Combines a Z80 processor with a 20-bit MMU for SC721's 1 MB linear memory.

The project provides firmware, a schematic, Gerbers, PCB design files, and kit or bare-PCB suppliers; an assembled version is not offered. Pair it with SC721 linear memory and do not combine it with the bank-switching SC707 or SC714 memory modules.

AvailableChecked Jul 25, 2026Sergey Z80 CPU and 512K Memory Module Familyby Sergey Kiselev / Weird Electronics

Combines a Z80 CPU, 512 KiB Flash, 512 KiB SRAM, clock, reset, and RomWBW paging on one modular card.

Tindie listed the complete Z80-512K kit without an out-of-stock notice on 2026-07-25; complete open files also remain available for both designs. The Z80-CPM store page failed extraction, so no stock claim is made for that variant. Z80-512K builders using its supervisor without a backup battery must short the battery connector as documented.

AvailableChecked Jul 24, 2026SoftCard III Reproductionby Joe's Computer Museum

Adds a Z80 processor and Microsoft SoftCard III compatibility for running CP/M on the Apple III family.

The current page offered assembled, kit, and PCB-only choices through its product selector on 2026-07-24. The PCB-only option does not include the ROM adapter or programmed ROM, and no option includes a rear-panel bracket. JCM tested assembled units booting Apple III CP/M from both wDrive and an original floppy.

Build itChecked Jul 25, 2026Tiny Z80by Sergey Kiselev

Business-card-sized RC2014-compatible Z80 computer with 1 MiB of memory and integrated serial and parallel I/O.

This is a surface-mount self-assembly project with KiCad, Gerber, CPLD, and firmware documentation. Programming its MAX7000AE CPLD requires the older Quartus II 13.0sp1 toolchain because newer Quartus versions do not support the device.
