Current C64 and C128 user- and cartridge-port boards that expose labeled pins for prototyping and hardware development.

Commodore4ever exposes current priced product variants for separate C64/128 user-port and cartridge or expansion-port boards. The user-port page documents its labeled male header and intended test uses. The expansion-board title and board label say EPB and cartridge or expansion port, but its body mistakenly describes access to the User Port and does not enumerate its signals. Human inspection found these guide breakouts to be basic passive pin extenders with no visible active components. No buffering, isolation, fusing, or current limiting is documented; exposed computer pins should not be treated as protected. Syzygy's C64 user-port version is retired and needs its selected header rows soldered.

C64 OS preserves the former $13 joystick and $19 VIC-20 listings, but no current product was exposed on Dorktronic's eBay profile in July 2026. The joystick item URL also failed two Tavily extractions after the required 60-second retry and is logged as WF-062. Treat both boards as used-market finds. Documentation was not included. Both designs expose computer power and signal lines directly; the VIC-20 feature explicitly warns that improper prototyping can damage the computer.

TFW8b exposed an active product page with selectable options on 2026-07-27. This is an accelerator for an existing storage device, not storage by itself. Loading speed and compatibility depend on the program and attached drive.

Expansion-port UART family with SwiftLink-compatible GLINK232 and faster Turbo232-compatible GLINK232T forms.

GLINK232 A03 remains buildable from its schematic, Gerbers, and component-option tables. The faster assembled GLINK232T was unavailable while its Tindie seller was taking a break on 2026-07-30, and its page does not provide a complete fabrication package. The seller text misprints the top T rate as 203400 baud; the maker's overview and register table specify 230400 baud.

Adds CompactFlash and ATA or ATAPI mass storage plus USB PCLink transfers to a Commodore 64 expansion port.

The official project site is active and identifies V4.2 as the latest revision, but the selected official pages provide neither a current order path nor a complete fabrication package. Check the used market and confirm the hardware revision before buying.

RETRO Innovations does not sell assembled Link232 cartridges. The maker publishes EAGLE schematic and PCB files for builders. A separately mentioned future Turbo232-compatible revision has no documented release and is not part of this record.

Adds SCSI disk hardware to a Commodore 64 through a CS/A adapter, with experimental external IEC-drive variants.

Only the modular C64 CS/A adapter plus CS/A SCSI card combination is reported tested and working. The simplified combined C64 board was not fully checked. VC-SCSI 1.0's component boards were tested separately but not as a complete drive, VC-SCSI 1.x remained an idea, and VC-SCSI 2.x was preliminary and untested. The published FAT12/FAT16 filesystem software is explicitly early beta and may corrupt a disk; never test it with valuable media. No current kit or assembled seller was verified.
